Who We Serve

With our current PROGRAMS as our guide, we seek to provide support to children who otherwise wouldn't have access to important services and resources.

We are always open to Individual Requests from parents and family.

But since it is often hard for those caregivers to find us, we rely on the cherished relationships we've built with the local schools highlighted below. Partnering with the teachers and administration of these institutions helps us ensure that our services are made available to those who really need them.

How We Identify Children In Need

Local Schools & Fundaciones

We work with a variety of local schools to help identify children who can benefit from our various Programs.

In particular, we have an ongoing relationships with the teachers and administrators of la Escuela Emanuel (in Barrio El Palmar) and La Travesia (near Santa Marianita).

In addition, we work closely with other local Fundaciones, who also serve the Manta community. These relationships help us identify both children in need, as well as gaps in services that we can help fill.

Individual Request Scholarships

Special requests can include medicine, eye glasses, food, clothing, school supplies and other fundamental needs. Each scholarship awarded is for $75.

Requests are reviewed by The Board of Directors monthly, and awarded on a case by case basis.

Request Requirements:

Must be a direct, child-based need that cannot be met with familial support.
Child must live in the Manta area.
We must receive a completed Application Form.

Please note: We will always follow up with applicants, regardless of whether a gift is awarded.
